Kaleb, Yep we will definitely pick if you get to be an offensive or defensive coordinator. I actually might try it as a defensive guy. I agree with limiting the certain 2*s. I did not even realize Fresno was a 2*. I think Matt brought it up a few posts ago that we shouldnt be aloud to be any major conference teams (which would eliminate the teams you mentioned, except Fresno, which I will take off too). I was thinking of even adding a couple of 3* schools. In previous year, I have started out as a coordinator or coach at Nevada and I think last year or the year before they were a 3* school somehow. I will compile a list of schools that are going to be looking for new coordinators

That sounds like a good idea..are you going to limit some two star teams? Like Maryland is two stars but that's not a two star roster ..others off the top of my head are: Uconn, Fresno state (ranked) and maybe Kentucky..but that will be hard enough in the SEC..thoughts? Also I assume we get our pick of O or D coordinator? Also if we are all playing together and posting on here I don't mind going by Kaleb And the gamer tag is : xPrototype 12x He's got a point. Maybe we should go by 1 to 2 star teams with like 75 overall or less (maybe even lower depending on how many people we get).

Yeah, definitely have to look at the overall of each team for this. How Old Dominion has a 75 ovr on the base roster with a one star rating is beyond me.
Ill use my real first name too. It's Bryan.

Wow I didn't know they were a 75? I started a dynasty with them and got destroyed by an fcs team. Using SEC elites heisman sliders..It was outrageous..they are so bad lol after I switched to another slider base I turned that season around to a respectable 7-5 but that was a low point in my life lol

This may sound like a dumb conspiracy, but I think they give them secret ratings for some games. In the 3 dynasties I've started, an FCS team has beaten either a top 25 team or a really good team (B or higher rating) every year. Usually the FCS teams win like 10-20% of the time, which is way too high.

Thats crazy about the fcs teams! I highly unrecommend anyone using Gerogia State, especially with our rosters. They have only won 4 games vs FCS level teams (0fbs wins) in the history of their program. They went 1-11 last year vs all but 2 fcs teams (lone win vs 0-12 rhode island), so we made them REALLY bad.

We just got these boards up on saturday so there is only about a dozen guys on here right now. I plan on continuing to get guys over here to run multiple dynaatys and have dome good college ball talk!
You can always shoot for getting that syracuse job offer! Being a coordinator there seems like a really attainable second stop.
Im glad you made it!

Okay just saw a thread in the main NCAA board on OS and wanted to make you aware.
Apparently EA said that there is a glitch right now in ODs that after year 1 with created coaches or coordinators you will not get any job offers no matter how good you did. But after year two it works fine and everyone will get job offers (if you've done good enough)
That's fine with me..keeps it a little more realistic by making you play two seasons to earn a new job..just wanted everyone else's opinion
And part of the glitch is that the commissioner can receive job offers after year one but no one else can. So if everyone is fine with waiting till year 2 to get job offers I would say commish can't accept any job offers if he gets some after year 1 but is fine to leave after year two like everyone else

They call that a glitch? I'd say it makes the game better.

Hahaha, I agree with you fightinsnyder. I dont think I would let anyone accept a job after 1 year anyways because thats not very fun/ realistic. I appreciate you bring that up though or else I might have been a little confused after the first year.

Okay guys, I have edited the original post which has pretty much every 1 and 2 star team rated 74 or below. I am thinking these are the ones that I will generate random offers from. If you are wondering the way I will do it is I will assign a number to each of these schools. I will then run a random number generator in excel 3 times for each coach and the 3 numbers they get are the 3 schools that have offered them. That sound fun to everyone?

So we're having the option of either head coach, O coordinator, or D coordinator from the get go (randomly generated or course)?

Wanted to let you know, I will have to remove myself from consideration for this OD. I am currently in 3. With favorite team it will be 4. Just don't wanna stretch myself too thin. I will still be in for your favorite team OD though.

Definitely count me in as interested, I've kinda always wanted to do a coach dynasty but felt I had no motivation to if it was solely against computers... Sounds fun.
