I would just like to make people aware that in our coaching dynasty this last week, #9 Texas A&M just lost to FCS East 21-6... Love it!

Two other teams have played sec teams and one... Let's make it three Denton, Texas A large contingent sends the Mean Green off with hopes of a miracle. North Texas will receive a large payday for playing the #1 Georgia Bulldogs in Athens this week, but offensive coordinator Russell Berry doesn't see his offense as sacrificial lambs. "They're excited to represent Texas high school football, and we aren't going to laydown." "We are going out there to win, not to play timid, and I am pleased with our preparation." After a lackluster performance against Ohio, the Mean Green played solid in a win over Ball State, and well, we saw what happened to the SEC in A$M's loss to FCS East. Here's hoping for another shocker.

Lafayette, LA
The Ragin Cajuns walked out on a rainy Sunday infront of an unusually large crowd for this small FBS schools normal attendance. For the past 2 games the ULL Ragin Cajuns have been on the road showing everyone they aren't a stepping stone this year. Although 1-1 the crowd was in full affect to see the exciting Terrance Broadway play.
He didnt disappoint throwing for 300 yards 3 TDs and adding 50 yards on the ground against fcs school Nichols St to go with 0 interceptions. Junior halfback Alfonzo Harris added 120 and 2 TDs as well as 40 receiving. The duo look to be a formidable force going forward.
Head coach Mark Hudspeth had this to say. "Very proud of the team not coming out flat against a team everyone knew we should beat. Of course there's always room for improvement. Defense has to step it up. 23 is too much to give up against anyone."
Coach Barruffa had this to say about his offense and their only turnover. "Yeah, that was a play we worked on and wanted to get practice." Alfonzo Harris took a snap at wildcat QB and tried to lob it in to QB Broadway from the 3 yardline. "I got a little greedy trying to get that play to work, Harris made a pass he shouldn't have but hey that's why he's normally playing runningback."
ULL heads to Akron next week.

@falconfanatic
Bowling Green just squeaks by Murray State?! The offensive line allows 8 sacks and 5 by one man?! This offensive line is so bad I could see the coaches chewing them out the whole game! I mean, when you are averaging like 2.5 yds per carry and let the star QB get injured fro 2 months, somethings gotta change. #HardToBeABGFan #Pitiful

Valiant effort falls short 23 - 20 in Athens, GA. The Mean Green had the ball with just under a minute left down by 3 with no timeouts. That's when Georgia seemed to will their pass rush that North Texas just had no answers for. The fact that North Texas tied the game in the second half, and was driving to tie or, gulp, even win, was truly remarkable. The fans in Athens seemed confused as to why this team from North Texas wouldn't go away. The Mean Green fought hard behind Brock Berglund's 272 passing yards on 65% completions, and Reggie Pegram's hard fought 106 yards on 25 carries, but in the end there were just too many 5 star athletes that seemed to wake up in the last 2 minutes for the Bulldogs. The Mean Green can surely use this test as a confidence boost for the remainder of the season, and just possibly a conference title for their first year in Conference USA. Berry's offensive game plan focused on staying balanced and using the power running attack behind the right side of the offensive line. Berry decided to scrap the hurry up and misdirection, deciding to just play straight ahead to try and diminish the speed on Georgia's defense. The plan seemed to work, and if an errant tip had not of been intercepted inside the Georgia 20, the Mean Green could have easily taken the lead in the 4th quarter. "We played with heart and determination," said Berry. "I know they aren't satisfied with playing em tough, but they can really be proud of the way they fought today."

Akron, Ohio
Akron fans cannot be to excited about the season they are going to experience, Terrance Broadway and company came into town and faced what seemed like a high school team on the way to a 54-20 blowout win where Akron could stop Run or pass as Broadway through 5 Tds and 0 Ints for 326 yards and 51 on the ground.

Well I finally beat Texas State today..took me three times to do it. Was up 24-7 and my game froze in the 2nd quarter and then I was up 14-10 and the game froze in the 2nd again... that was very annoying.
