So I figured I would get a wish list going for NCAA 15 (or I guess its College Football 15). Feel free to share ideas.
My first gripe are the rosters, and not that they are so poorly rated and done (I know its a hard task). I am more annoyed by the way they are set up. They are all set up assuming each team runs a 4-3 and uses a fullback (the fullback is part of the algorithm for the teams overall rating). I would like to see them make each roster based on the team's scheme. If a team runs a 3-4 hybrid, then make the roster list 3 linemen (Nose Tackle, 2 DE's or something close to that. Yes, I know there are a few varieties). Then there would be a Sam, Will, and two middle backers. Or some teams have a middle backer, sam, will, and their rover type player that they all call something else. On that note, change up the WRs. Its not just a list, there are specific positions (fl, se, ect. or just x,y, z, ect). The slot guy might be higher rated than your z, but in the game now, it just goes by who is rated the highest, not what type of WR they are.
They could still do it in a generic fashion to keep it simple.
Anyone else's thoughts?

I agree with most of the stuff you said. I wish they would separate wide recievers by their position. Like a tall wide reciever should be a flanker and a smaller guy should play the slot. I'm not a fan of seeing Randy Moss type players on the inside and Wes Welker players on the outside.
Also, I wish they would improve pass blocking like they did run blocking. Run blocking in '14 is the best I've seen, but pass blocking is sometimes laughably bad. If they would have realistic holding calls, as well, I would be a happy man. I'm tired of seeing my WR on the other side of the field getting a hold on a draw play on 3rd and 2.
Lastly, they need to include more player face models and improve body models. They've had the same 300 faces in the game since '09 and it's getting a little old.

I agree that it is really annoying dealing with the 6'5 slot receivers haha. It makes no sense.
The penalties in general just need a major overhaul. I have also saw where if you zero out the penalty sliders that the game plays much differently (better according to some), which is something that probably should not be the case. If there is a holding, then I want to see the holding. The holding should be something intelligent. If your offensive linemen is outmatched, then he should be the one grabbing cloth as the DE schools him. One thing I also find funny is the horse collar tackle animation they have, yet theres no horse collar penalties, haha.
I think they will be doing more face models for the next gen... well at least I hope. It is something that does not even take that long to do and is really not hard, especially since they have some scanning technology. I think they will be doing some upgrades for next gen though since the new systems will allow for more polygons and better texturing (possibly some Sub surface scattering action!?).
I would also like to see the helmets and some longer hair not just be a texture on the model. Pretty basic stuff to achieve right there and that would create some lost helmets, flopping chin straps, hair naturally moving, ect. Maybe even some instances where helmets pop off (we had this in like 04)... wait, as long as they dont put in the rule like in real life where the player has to leave the game for a damn play if his helmet happens to come off (second dumbest rule ever behind the new helmet to helmet rule, which does not even properly follow what targeting really is).
Oh and I want to see all the friggin stadiums and their improvements in. I believe they STILL do not have the massive new video board at the Coliseum... oh wait, its not new anymore as it was completed for opening game of the 2011 season! Seriously, stuff like that really bothers me. EA could just pay me $60, or even just give me a free copy of the game each year, and I would do the small upgrades to stadiums like that. I could model and texture that video board, and even leave the place holder for the coding to the video screen in under an hour.
Hmm I probably have more but cant think of them right now, haha.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they put in OU's big board the season it was built. Maybe they just don't like SC that much lol.

Hopefully now that the 'NCAA' portion of the game is being taken out, EA can re-institute probation in dynasty mode. Please, please, please.

Id like to see more lower tier schools in and the suspension and probation. Id also like to see medical redshirt and as a visual side of things id like to see better crowds, chain gain, and better sidelines emotions.

I'd like to see the game given to real testers before it is release. Not just a bunch of posers only worried about Online Ranked games.
You know how many of these glitches could be avoided if Beta Testing access was given to dedicated fans of this franchise? All of them.

Thats a great point McNutted. I find it very frustrating that there are so many glitches upon release every year. Certain things do not bother me as much as others, but there are quite a few glitches and bugs that could be easily fixed before release day.
