@footballlegends
A clash of the historical titans just ended in South Bend. The Sooners dominated the Irish defense and only a few turnovers kept Oklahoma from running the score over half a hundred. #KeepOnDozing #BestFootballTeamOfTheModernEra

USC Comes Back Again The USC Trojans dug themselves another hole saturday afternoon. This time it was a 17 point hole and on the road at #14 Arizona State. At the end of the first quarter, USC had done nothing to move the ball and nothing to stop the Sun Devils. Being down 17-0, Marqise Lee decided to step up and take over. The entire team, including the defense, then followed. He scored his first of three touchdowns with 5:40 left in the half. The ensuing drive was another Arizona State touchdown, making the score 24-7 with 4 minutes to go in the half. However, That would be the last time the Sun Devils would sniff the end zone until garbage time in the last 10 seconds of the game. SC's defense stepped up from there creating turnovers and getting to Taylor Kelly. Lee and the coaching staff then challenged the offensive line at halftime and it worked. They came out on fire and running hard between the tackles. After establishing who was the more physical team, they went back to the air using play action. Kessler hit Lee on a 9 yard slant to get the score within 3 midway through the third. Then at the end of the third, USC capped a long time consuming scoring drive with a 1 yard power run up the gut by Tre Madden. After another defensive stop, USC put the game away on an incredible 79 yard Touchdown pass from Kessler to Lee, where Lee plucked the ball out of the air with his left hand 30 yards down field and took it the rest of the way for six. Ty Isaac then scored with only a few minutes left in the game before the Sun Devils getting a touchdown against the SC backups with just 10 seconds remaining to make the final score 47-33.

Lexington, Kentucky
The Gators finally shook off the rust they have been experiencing in the 1st quarter to absolutely blow kentucky out of the water 50-10
Sophomore runningback Matt Jones powered throw the Big Blue defense for 145 yds and 3 TDs, as Jeff Driskel added another 64 on the ground and 190 through the air. At 6'3" 225 lbs rising sophomore Jones is becoming a handful for defenses to tackle with his rare blend of size and speed.
On the defensive side of the ball, Jr corner Louchiez Purifoy added another pick to his season total while his partner in crime and opposite starting corner, Marcus Roberson, added 2 himself. He took one to the house for six and almost took the second before leaving the game with a concussion on his second interception. Muschamp says he is being evaluated and should be able to play next week.
The gators welcome the Razorbacks to Gainesville next week and hope to continue the winnning.

Nice work man. How many picks does Purifoy have so far? Really high on him and think hes one of the best players on the team (or possibly the best).
I wil be advancing in the morning. I would advance now, but I want to fix some sliders before I do so I have to get on xbox to do it.

So you did end up adjusting the sliders? Cuz Arkansas gave me an unexpected test. If so that explains it.

I have been going to the EA boards, so I will try and be more active in this forum. Big victory @ #8 Stanford. They have a very good defense but I was able to mix up the run and pass. Hogan is usually a very steady QB, but he got flustered after an early INT, and ended up throwing 4 INTs including a Pick 6 by All-Name Team member Princeton Fuimaono.

Haha All Name Team guys are great. Dominating win. The sliders for the new week should be much tougher, although I am not entirely sure right now if they went through. When I updated them on the xbox, I went to advance and it said we were in week 1! Thankfully it was in the right week on the internet so I was able to advance that way.

Okay, so the sliders that are supposed to be in place for this week are as follows:
Offense: Heisman Defense: All American Threshold: 20
Penalties: Offsides: 90 False start: 90 Holding: 59 Int Grounding: 54
Gameplay: (Hum/CPU) QB ACC: 10/15 Pass Block: 60/60 Catch: 45/45 RB Ability: 50/50 Run Block: 25/25 Cov: 65/60 INT: 50/60 Rush D: 45/45 Tackling: 45/45 FG Pow: 40/45 FG Acc: 10/40 Punt Pow: 45/50 Punt Acc: 40/90 Kickoff 45/55
Let me know how these play. I had some great games with these in my own dynasty including a 16-13 defensive battle playing on 9 minute quarters. I find them to be a good challenge and I would call myself someone who does not put up nearly as many points as almost all of you guys, so hopefully they are still a tough challenge for everyone else. I can adjust them in the future too. Our All American sliders were maxed out at 0 run block for human and 100 rush D for CPU and it did not seem to be slowing down anyone, so I figured we needed a bump up in challenge.
Enjoy!

#2 Oregon @ #6 Washington College football fans everywhere are scrambling to get tickets and make arrangements this week as #2 Oregon (5-0, 2-0) travels to Seattle to play hated Pac-12 rival #6 Washington (5-0, 2-0) in a matchup that looks to be one for the ages. Both teams come in with up-tempo, high-octane offenses that put on a show every single week. In a game that features the two top rushing and scoring offenses (as well as two of the top three teams in total and offensive yardage), a shootout seems inevitable. But with the Huskies allowing the second-fewest yards per game and the Ducks leading the nation in sacks and fifth in interceptions, neither defense appears willing to back down. In games this close, the final result usually comes down to which impact players step up and make the necessary plays to sway the game in their favor. In the last four weeks, the national player of the week has come from one of these two teams, and it's no coincidence. These teams are loaded with star power. Washington is led by Heisman favorite Keith Price, who is arguably the most prolific passer and playmaker in college football up to this point. Price boasts a nation-leading 213.5 QB rating and a ridiculous 19-0 touchdown to interception ratio, all with 78% completion. In addition to his passing, Price has shown the ability to run, sporting the fourth-highest rushing total among QB's and second-highest TD total among all rushers. His favorite target in the passing game is star TE Austin Seferian Jenkins, who has the fifth-highest receiving YPG and leads the nation in touchdown receptions. And no one can forget stud RB Bishop Sankey, who leads the nation in rushing YPG. As an added bonus, WR Jaydon Mickens is third in the nation in AVG yards on kicks returns, frequently setting the Huskies up for great field position. On the other end is Oregon, who also showcases an arsenal of weapons on offense. Calling the shots is dual-threat QB Marcus Mariota, who makes the case for the Heisman trophy in his own respect. Sixth in QB rating and completion percentage and second in TD passes, Mariota has proven to be even more dangerous as a runner, leading all QB's in rushing yards and leading all players in 20+ yard rushes. Perfectly complementing the skillset of Mariota is quite possibly the most explosive player in all of college football, De'Anthony Thomas, who ranks second in yards per rush and average YAC. In addition to Thomas is Byron Marshall, another highly efficient back who ranks third in the nation in TD rushes on only 51 rushes. The Ducks two running backs along with Marcus Mariota are three of the top four players in the nation in yards per rush, averaging an astonishing 9.15 AVG per rush as a total unit. Quite possibly the X-factor of this team is the special teams play. Thomas, in addition to being an outstanding offensive weapon, is a threat to score on every return. With a nation-leading 28.5 AVG yards on punt returns and an absolutely astonishing 49.2 AVG yards per kick return, DAT has five return touchdowns through five games, setting an unbelievable pace that only fuels the scoring fire that Oregon thrives on. There is no doubt that both teams will come ready for this game. With the winner of this game likely to end the season as champions of the Pac-12 North division, the stakes are high already. But when these teams play, it always seems to mean more. The Ducks and the Huskies have played every year since 1900, and while Washington lead the overall series, Oregon has won nine straight dating back to 2004. The tradition and the disdain between the programs is strong, and you never know what to expect when these two teams play. This game has record-setting offenses and dominating defenses; explosive plays and electric special teams; NFL prospects and Heisman trophy contenders; conference championship securities and national title implications; intense passion and deep-rooted hatred. There's no excuse not to be tuned in at 10:00 PM ET this Saturday to watch the potential game of the year. If you don't love games like this, you just don't love college football.

Don't think the Sooner coaching staff took an actual visit to scout Pat Sledge, an out-of-state three-star athlete with no prior interest in Oklahoma. Curious as to how they found out about this one. #WordOfMouth #InfoStealer #NeverSpeakingOfRecruitsAgain

Yeah, can never underestimate home-field advantage in a game like this. If you guys want, comment on your predicted game score or just who you think will come out on top. The biggest game yet and possibly the most high-impact game of the season is upon us, we ought to give it the proper hype it deserves!

Irishdawg and I just spent over an hour and a half trying to play this game and it disconnected on us I'd say over a half dozen times, so we need to let the servers sit and try this again later. Unfortunately, that means our game might be later than expected and a Monday advance date might not work. Sorry guys! We're trying our best.

Baton Rouge, Louisiana
It took 3 overtimes but Florida overcame LSU to win 60-58!
This was an absolute slugfest. LSU came in and absolutely embarrassed the nations 6th rated run defense in the country has RB Jeremy Hill ran for 205 yards and 2 TDs while the other RBs behind him added another 45 and a TD. Zach Mettenberg threw for 246 and 5 TDs.
On the flipside UF didn't disappoint either. Matt Jones put up 143 and 2 TDs. Driskel matched Mettenberger with 285 and 5 TDs and 1 on the ground. An unlikely suspect FB Hunter Joyer led with 2 receiving TDs. But the difference was senior WR Andre Debose who had 307 return yards and 92 receiving yards.
The game can down to LSU having to convert their two pointer as they ran straight up the middle with a 4 wide set. The line opened a hole big enough for a car to fit through and it was 1-1 6'2" 235 LB Jeremy Hill and 5'9" 190 LB safety Cody Riggs. Riggs came in low at his legs knowing it was the only way to stop him and he flipped him landing on the 1! UF came out of Death Valley alive!
**reading the Oregon-UW right up is nuts. Keith Price is ballin wow. But man I wish the UGA guy didn't quit..he was number 2 and I'm 5..would have been a huge game!!"
